Product manager

The Product Manager is responsible for leading the development and management of our learning platform. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for the strategy, design, and delivery of solutions that meet the educational and pedagogical needs of our users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, content, marketing, and sales, to drive the development of user-centric, scalable learning products.

Role & responsibilities

  1. Product Strategy & Vision:
    • Collaborate with the CPO on the product vision that aligns with the company’s overall mission and educational goals.
    • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor insights to inform product roadmap and strategy.
    • Develop and prioritize the product roadmap to ensure a clear, focused delivery of features that add value to learners, educators, and administrators.
  2. Product Development:
    • Lead end-to-end product development, from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and user experience best practices.
    • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces and seamless learning experiences.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop scalable solutions, prioritize features, and ensure timely product delivery.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Act as the bridge between different teams, including content development, marketing, sales, and customer success, ensuring clear communication of product objectives and progress.
    • Engage with educators, students, and other key stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the product.
  4. Data-Driven Decision-Making:
    • Define and monitor product metrics to measure success and guide decision-making.
    • Conduct A/B testing, user interviews, and other forms of research to iterate and improve the product based on real-world feedback.
    • Use data insights to prioritize feature development and ensure maximum impact on learner outcomes.
  5. Project Management:
    • Manage product timelines and ensure that all team members are aligned and working toward the same goals.
    • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in EdTech, education, and learning technologies to keep the product at the forefront of innovation.
    • Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the product team.
    • Constantly improve the procedures cross-department with all implementation managers

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in an EdTech or education-focused company.
  • Strong understanding of educational technologies, digital learning platforms, and the needs of learners and educators.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using product management tools and data analysis tools
  • Experience working with agile development teams and methodologies.
  • Passion for education and a deep understanding of the learning process.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business strategy, leadership, marketing, and operations or a related field (preferred), with specialization in product Management, technology management and digital Innovation
  • Languages: Dutch and English (French is a big +)

Three expected deliverables by the end of the first three months

  • Scope one feature from A to Z
  • Interview 3 customers
  • Promote 2 Changelogs using video and in-app notification tools
